The name BlueScope Steel is itself a powerful brand. It represents the strength and traditions of our company from its pioneering origins in the Australian steel industry to its position today as a market leader providing high levels of service, and trusted and inspired steel solutions to our customers.
In conjunction with the BlueScope Steel brand, we are also famous for some of our leading product brands. Brands such as COLORBOND® steel (since the 1960’s) and ZINCALUME® steel (since the 1970’s) have been leading names in the building and construction industry, known widely as versatile, high quality steel building materials.
More recently, Clean COLORBOND® prepainted steel - the “Defence System Against Tropical Staining” - was released throughout Asia in 1999. The unique paint system of Clean COLORBOND® steel prevents fine dirt and other particles from bonding to the building surface even in the very hot and humid environments of Southeast Asia
BlueScope Lysaght ®, founded in 1918, is the steel roll-forming business of BlueScope Steel, a name that has remained synonymous with quality throughout the decades.
