BlueScope Steel has three main business units operating within Australia. These are BlueScope Steel Australian and New Zealand Industrial Markets, BlueScope Steel Australian Manufacturing Markets and BlueScope Lysaght. Significant operations centre around the Port Kembla Steelworks and nearby Illawarra Coated Products. Large distributed production facilities also exist at Western Port Works (VIC) and at nationwide service centres, sales offices and roll forming facilities.

Situated at Glenbrook, south of Auckland, New Zealand Steel operates a fully integrated steel mill, processing local raw materials into a range of flat steel products for both domestic and export markets.
